Institut Friedland is an establishment of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris Ile-de-France, and is managed by Thierry Philipponnat.

An Advisory Board and a Coordination Committee are responsible for its governance.

The Advisory Board identifies the economic trends liable to influence the Institute's activities. It issues recommendations about the programme of activities and meets in plenary session three times a year.

Institut Friedland is also supported by a Coordination Committee, which defines its programme of activities and makes sure that it is consistent with the advisory mission of the CCI of Paris Ile-de-France.

This Committee, chaired by Didier Kling, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris Ile-de-France consists of 9 representatives, elected members and employees of the CCI of Paris Ile-de-France including:

  • Gérald Barbier, President of the "Commission commerce".

  • Magalie Carré, President of the "Commission droit du travail et questions sociales".

  • Jérôme Frantz, Elected member of the "Mission Consultative".

  • Franck Gentin, President of the "Commission droit de l'entreprise et fiscalité".

  • Etienne Guyot, Director general of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris Ile-de-France .

  • Jean-Claude Karpelès, President of the "Commission économie et financement des entreprises".

  • France Morot-Videlaine, Deputy Director general "chargée de la Vie institutionnelle et des Etudes".

  • Thierry Philipponnat, Director of Institut Friedland.

  • Michel Valache, President of the "Commission du développement économique régional".

The Institute is wholly financed by the CCI of Paris Ile-de-France.
