Institut Friedland, the economic think tank of the CCI Paris Île-de-France, publishes its activity report for 2016-2018.

In line with its mission to reflect upon the conditions required for business development, the Institute has dealt with various topics at the heart of companies’ concerns: the economic impact of artificial intelligence, protectionism, Brexit, blockchain, EU tax harmonisation, innovation in SMEs, start-up companies’ buyout, valuation of FAANGS, environmental taxation reform...

The 71 publications of Institut Friedland have given rise to 15 events which brought together more than 1,000 business leaders, elected officials, high-level civil servants, regulators and experts.

On November 8th 2018, the General Assembly of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris Île-de-France decided to stop the activity of Institut Friedland. This decision is linked to a significant reduction of financial resources within the CCI network.
